ORTHODONTIA

Today is the day that Matt gets his top braces on. He's being brave about it but is definitely nervous. I think more nervous about the "cool factor" than the pain factor. I'm getting him out of school at 10:15 and probably not going to bring him back after the appointment. So this morning will be the last time for about two years that I will see that sweet grin without metal, but once they come off.. watch out world!!

Wish him luck! Happy Tuesday.. the sun is shining bright.

    Karen give him plenty of pudding/icecream at first it hurts, Stephen told me , I wouldn't know. He had 3 days of mashed potatoes and soft things....
    U will get used to his smile....I am sure it will be just as handsome with a little shine lol...Stephie

    Thanks Stephie, I aslo need to bring a tylenol with me to give him before they start. I just made some lime jello and peach jello and will definitely spoil him for the next couple of days.

    oh! My Anthony is supposed to got to the Orth. in 6 mo.!!!!!!!!
    I'm afraid!
    He hasn't had his growth spurt yet, so I was going to wait for the braces-he's only 11
    How old is Matt?

    Mel, Matt just turned 11 in April! But the good thing is that he'll have them off by junior high. He has already lost all of his baby teeth. The visit went well, he got cool blue elastics and we went to the Lobster Hut on the Waterfront for lunch. Chowda and fish and chips with pink lemonade!

    so how have the past few days been with the new teeth jewlery? Hope he is back to eating regular....
    Our Ortho had us get from him this Floride rince..We all use it it is called Ortho Wash and it is surpose to help the teeth stay strong while wearing the braces and no white spots....Just a tought...Stephie
