Aaaaachooo!

Everywhere I look is a thin film of yellow green pollen. It's disgusting. My eyes are hurting. Billy is home from school today and awaiting his Zirtec prescription. Does everyone else have this layer? Or is it just me.

we don't have the layer here in San Diego, but my parents tell me that they have it all over the cars, the window sills, the screens, the porch....and my father has been really sick and had to go be put on a nebulizer because his asthma has been acting up (probably from the pollen). i do NOT miss that yellow layer or yuck!

Here too. The window sills look aweful I don't want to open the windows but the air is so nice. You would think my car was a magnet for it too. UGH AND ACHOO here too........Stephie

Mel, we actually didn't get Zirtec because Blue Cross doesn't cover it! The pharmacist suggest I try the 10 mg Care One (generic) allergy medication and if that doesn't work he will call my pedi back tomorrow and get a script for Allegra. I took one and feel great and Billy also said he feels good. His throat is still scratchy though. Its the nondrowsy one, but I still feel a bit drowsy ( but I'm always drowsy anyway!)

M.. it actually wasn't Allegra.. We used Stop and Shop's generic store brand.. (per the pharmacist) probably cheaper too!

    Hi Karen,

My son Kevin takes Zyrtec for allergies. We tried Claritin and that didn't work, then Allegra and now Zyrtec. It's funny you say Blue Cross doesn't cover it because now that you mention it, it was expensive. Maybe I paid full price, I'll have to look into that.
